What I miss about GoT are all of the GoT dinner parties people threw with delicious food. Fake medieval food is the easiest food to replicate because it is so basic. Fresh fruits, steamed veggies, and some sort of roasted meat is basically all it was.

The hardest part was the desert but you could just make some simple pie if you didn't want to be too fancy.

The food in FFXV is literally mouth watering. My favorite part of the game.

As a prior Marine who greatly appreciated his field cooks (I remember scrambling and cooking a fuck ton of eggs and frying some ham with a cook while I was in Afghanistan early in the morning cause I was on late night guard duty, and there was another dude to cover for me. My second tour over there I managed to buy some chickens from the bazaar that I raised, slaughtered, and cooked at a nearby ANA outpost. I needed their dirt oven to cook some bread to go with the chicken), this is exact type of shit that tickles my goat. I had such a good relationship with my cooks that they would give me the first taste of food and use my judgement to make the food not taste like shit.

The stat bonuses from the game is also quite realistic as a good meal definitely energizes troops in the field. You definitely feel 1000x better after eating a delicious meal while you are in the middle of the shit and been eating nothing but crappy MREs for the past month. A lot of people say a cook in the military is a shit tier job, but honestly it is one of the most important MOSes.
