Delany and Rapo did some racist shit on social media a long ass time ago. One was a halloween costume and the other was a confederate flag cake. Apparently Sohla and Christina have never been paid for their videos, but how can we know this is wrong unless we know all the numbers. Does anyone else make content that pulls in as many viewers as Brad or Claire? I'm pretty sure they crush the numbers, it would be pretty understandable for them to make more money. I don't really understand everything Sohla is saying. Also other people are saying' 'sohla is a better cook' as if that has anything to do with viewership. Was doing videos in her job description when she accepted the position? If not, she should have negotiated for higher pay when she started to do them. Once you go from being just another staff member to one of the sort of 'celebrity' faces like Brad or Claire, something within the pay structure should probably change.

This. She literally had a contract and she could have easily said, "I would like to be paid additionally for making video appearances or else I will not appear in videos and continue to follow my job description and current contract to the letter." Instead she thought she could just appear in videos and eventually they'd just decide to pay her more, but why would you pay someone more if they're willing to do something without extra pay? She never put her foot down on the issue and then blamed racism for her lack of spine and lack of negotiation skills.
