Ever since I started watching this Asian guys videos I have been very cautious about food safety. Tiny little things can fuck you up badly or kill you.

https://youtu.be/5ujTYLV2Qo4

Every other video of this guy is about someone who ate something and terrible things happened.

Stay safe bros

Most his cases are outliers, things you can't prepare for(gas station nachos), or are so obviously moronic there's no reason to worry. Unless you intend on chugging three liters of distilled water.

i leave meat overnight sometimes because it didn't cool before i can put it in the fridge and forget. yea do it quite a bit but my stomach is usually okay whereas my roommate is really sensitive to this kind of stuff.
i use the sniff test but it doesn't work for some bacteria in fish.
didn't know you can die from food poisoning... think i'll practice better food safety.

Doesn't matter even if she did, drinking a shit ton of distilled water is extremely bad and leaches so much out of your body.

i remember even doing it with chicken drumsticks or cut up breasts one time. smelled it seemed fine, and nibbled most of it. the bone was a little red and had me worried but that's how i usually cook it otherwise the rest of it is too dry. that's the scariest one for me since I know how easy chicken can fuck up.
with ground beef nothing really happens; not even medium rare left too long, so yea i'm fairly confident with eating beef that's left out longer than what most people are okay with...
still i have some possibly week old taco beef that i just threw away because of that video. honestly looked fine though.

fish is 50/50 and also scary if it's not cooked well or left in the fridge too long raw - there's one called "Scombroid poisoning" and one other food poisoning type in fish and they're both completely undetectable. I got it before from a big piece of fish i used for sashimi and putting it back in the fridge. worst case of food poisoning i remember.

lol no, long term it's bad to drink it as your source of water. But just drinking distilled water in one sitting even a lot of it won't do anything to you.
