Based, I love being a regular. Theres a diner near me that I loved going to before COVID. The food is good, but it is the fastest kitchen in the world. Honestly I don't know how they do it, and the food comes out ripping hot and hasn't been sitting under a lamp.

I hope they make it out of this so I can go back soon.

I used to wake up early on the weekends, between 6 and 7am.
I'd take a long, winding walk through the city to arrive at one of several cafes right as they opened.
I'd spend an hour or so drinking a black iced coffee and enjoying a very simple sandwich. Just egg, salt and pepper, a tiny bit of mayo I think.
Then still before most people were up, I'd go window shopping but almost never buy anything.

One last deenz sandwich, actually made this one for breakfast today. I pan fried the deenz in their own oil and made a chimichurri style dressing from assorted garden herbs and peppers, pickled onions on buttered white toast.

That is definitely chorizo. It's not one that I've gotten, though. San Pedro's in the right state, but nowhere close. The place I go is called Athenian Burger and they do these perfect crispy potatoes in the burrito.
