- 6 cloves shallots
- Half of what you use for shallots for garlic
- Bird's eye chili, or something like this, don't matter, just use 10 of them or something, idk, up to you
- Lemongrass 1, whack and finely chop, so fine that you won't see it inside the final product
- Half a lime
- Cooking oil
- Shrimp paste (if you want a milder flavor, fry them in the oil we're about to pour over, wear a respirator before you fry them unless you can handle the smell)

- Just mix it all together, pour some hot oil on top of it all and serve with anything you think needs some sour, tangy, spicy condiment. I could recommend sunny-side up eggs.

This is the good stuff. My mother started giving it to me when I was six, or there abouts. There was a time in our lives where she would always keep a small bottle of it in her purse.
