A Little Caesars opened in my shopping center once but then closed down 6 months later because everyone though it was shit. This was the same center with a Domino’s that routinely left hair in their food and they still preferred it over Caesars. I traveled to Florida on vacation which was a whole 7 states away from where I live, and their pizza still tasted like burnt trash.

this thread made me get LCs. got the classic pep and italian cheesy bread. made fresh the pep was actually fairly decent, the italian cheesy bread was better though. the ungodly amount of grease is really doing it for me. kicking my internal organs into overdrive, I can feel the blood pumping. I know I'll be sitting on the toilet come morning though, it's going to be rough.

Little Caesars is cheaper for many reasons. The sauce is a concentrated mix that water is added to. A lot of water. It's revolting to make. The cheese is a cheaper muenster and mozzarella mix as opposed to plain mozzarella (little Caesars cheese portion is higher than any other big chain 9 oz for a 14 inch pizza is obscene). Also they use low quality pepperoni and other ingredients to cut costs. The kicker is that they don't deliver (which means they don't have to pay several extra employees minimum wage while waiting to deliver) also little Caesars shops pay employees the bare minimum. Managers make withing 50¢ of minimum wage. Cutting costs is easy is a place like this. You can simply not wash things cuz the customer doesn't know. It costs less to not actually wash dishes. The customer never knows. Watered down sauce, cheap ingredients, underpaid staff. The three pillars of a profitable (ish) pizza place. Also it isn't that cheap. Domino's and Pizza hut and Papa John's all offer carryout specials for pizzas that are bigger with higher quality ingredients that are just as plentiful. The day you see how sweaty and nasty a little Caesars pepperoni pizza sold at 6:30pm during the dinner rush on a Friday (that was assembled at 3:45pm and placed on a rack) is the last day you ever eat a little skeezers pizza. It's wrong the way they do things. It hurts me.
