what he describes is typical blue collar behavior.
Don't expect middle class ethics from lower class.
Ramsay is a low class prole who had a lucky break. I'm not shitting on his skills but there are plenty of good chefs who are not as rich as he is.
In anycase, opressing your underlings, cutting corners etc are common behavior.

As someone else said, he has had a few good ideas, but he's generally overrated. He's just redoing existing recipes with "le epic science"that's 90% trendy ingredients and techniques. He's not a real chef by his own admission, so his opinions are irrelevant on professional kitchens.

His general Taos recipe is legit, though.

>Ramsay is a low class prole
This. You can't make the guy classy, educated or not a bully abuser. Ramsay is a poor educator and not a talent, and people should stop watching him.

Always keep in mind, that your own critical thinking skills may be exceptional, not average. Remember, 50% of the IQ bell curve is below average. The majority of people are actually just average, and people will do what they'll want to do. If you lost the genetic lottery, never once achieved in academic endeavors starting in your early childhood...if you fried youro brain through a lifetime of bad choices, and you enjoy cable TV as your only source of any entertainment? Well, then, such is your life.
I think Kenji Alt is one step beneath Christopher Kimball in stupid nonsense, but they're both laughing all the way to the bank as they woo and get people to subscribe to their latest post. People idolize both and their "let's reverse engineer some asinine nontraditional recipe we found on the internet to make the best ______" ignoring all traditional chemistry understandings, basic science or already known culinary understandings from the people who did go to culinary school or make that recipe right in whatever region it is from.

If you don't like someone, don't buy their product. That's how people go away and better people step in. Never for a moment think these two fools are actual chefs. They are in the business of selling you on image, marketing, and their non-cooking products.

Ramsay had it rough his whole life. Grew up poor, his father and brother were alcoholics, he had a shit childhood and had seen the worst of life before he even left school.

Kenjis parents were rich Harvard graduates. He went to a rich culinary school.

It's impossible to expect someone like Kenji to understand Ramsay. When you've lived through hard times, you don't really care about being polite and respectful. You care about results and being the best. Kenji is happy with his little restaurant in wherever the fuck America. Ramsay built an empire and is known around the world.

Like I said, it's not even Kenjis fault. You really can't expect him to even begin to understand. I've had similar experiences too where I had a shit childhood and had to fend for myself. I've worked as a pastry chef in restaurants across my country and I've made female co-workers break down crying without even knowing what I did wrong.

But you're right on the personality front. Some people take banter on the chin and thrive on it, others fold and cry (we call those Americans). Ramsay is a cunt, always has been and always will be but that doesn't mean the core mentality is wrong just because it's not politically correct.

Reminder Ramsay shit all over instant food like Turkey twizlers while at the same time writing articles and promoting the exact same products in a magazine while his TV show aired. Literal two faced cunt who told people not to buy things on TV then told them to in a book selling them.
