You can get the cheap shitty ones like Bumblebee and Brunswick for a dollar a can, and they're not terrible and will do, but there really is an increase in quality with price and the good ones can just be eaten straight out of the can and still have a mild but delicious flavor.

publix only had king oscar and some other cheaper poopy looking brands. the jalapeno wild caught were cheaper than the normal ones and they were really good. has anyone ever tried the oriental flavor? also how are bumblebee canned salmon fillets? canned fish on some ritz style crackers is pretty nice.

>> No.13864940

>has anyone ever tried the oriental flavor?
do you mean mediterranean lol? king oscar definitely doesn't have an oriental-flavored deenz can. but mediterranean is awesome, i generally just prefer getting deenz in oil and spicing them up myself, but the mediterranean style is very good.

Was about too make lunch with them.

Small handful of favourite flavour of doritos -- crushed into powder and placed in a bowl

Add two cans of sardines ( in oil is best)

Two green onions finely chopped.

half a stick of celery also finely chopped.

A few spinach leaves fine chopped,

some horseradish and pepper to taste.

mash all together to integrate

might need to add the remaining oil from the cans or olive oil to get the right consistency.

Scoop out two table spoons on to a leaf of Romain lettuce, add sliced olives ( I like black but green is good as well and chopped italian tomatoes.

roll up leaf and sick it in your mouth.

only had the bumblebee/clifftop sardines and have been enjoying all of 'em;water/oil/mustard/louis-hotsaude. they have their skins and appear intact w/out heads and i guess without spine/bones as i've never noticed anything resembling bone. not sure what the enjoyable bristle in other brands people go on about are, but if its bones I don't get it. got ko kipper snacks too, no bones, same w/ no head but intact otherwise.
