Guga and Adam are the only ones I watch on a consistent basis, sometimes babish or claire and the “every way to cook x” series from bon appetit. How to cook that is pretty based though. I’d never be interested in her videos about the actual recipes for fancy recreations but her callout videos against content farms are pretty good.

Yeah it's the only channel I've ever cooked by multiple times and it really got me cooking French food a lot more. Other channels I mostly watch for entertainment or maybe try to cook one thing that interests me.

Chinese cooking demystified is another one posted in this thread that I like, but where I live it's so fucking hard to gather up all the weird chink ingredients that I've never actually cooked a recipe from there.

Not OP, but Babish got kinda boring for me. It used to be "hey, look at me cook foods from all the things you watched," then the choices started getting increasingly esoteric as the choices dried up I guess (which was inevitable). Then he started moving into basic how-to videos, which are cool I guess, but not what I was there for. I rarely click on his vids anymore unless he's cooking something from a movie or show I've seen.

BA has completely filled that hole in my heart, the concepts for their shows are consistently interesting (especially Morocco's) and I love everyone in the test kitchen.

Not the guy you replied to but from the videos I've seen Babish takes some weird shortcuts and has a few shit effort recipes.

His basics videos are decent but most of his videos don't look great to more experienced cooks

Glen&Friends is good. I like when his wife shows up and eats the food at the end of every episode. Glen's pretty good too, he's got a very "I dunno, fuck it." kind of attitude behind all the professionalism.

Agreed, love this guy. Plus the quality of his videos are so high quality(literally uses RED 4K cameras) given that he's a photographer/videographer by trade and he does Glen and Friends just for fun.
