I'm a scratch cook pretty much 7/365 so I can't imagine being stuck with only frozen dinners and a few canned staples to time me along for a couple of months.

Not being able to cook isn't actually a thing. If you can follow simple instructions and have some sort of access to the internet then you can cook. Anybody who says they can't cook or that they "tee hee burn boiling water" deserves to be shot in the face.

Here in burger land, all of the shit fast food is still open for drive thru only. Thank god my mother taught me how to cook and keep a pantry as a basic life skill, because it is.

I remain unconvinced there are people who can not cook in the first world. Every box and can has instructions. The internet is still up. If you literally do not know how to bake a potato, just look it up.
But yes, quality has gone up besides the several dozen "how doez i cookz?" threads. But at least people are fucking wanting to learn I guess.
