Years ago I tried them. It wasn't the same filling, but some sort of whipped crap. The whole point was that people were taking two oreos and making one with twice the filling, and they managed to fuck that up somehow. The double ones weren't even as good as an ordinary single.

the cream is usually my favorite part of anything, but actually I believe the best part of the oreo is their chocolate-cookie. it's REALLY rich, I don't know if I'd want them necessarily without cream but a high-cream-low-cookie distribution isn't my personal ideal. I guess it's fine to have it an option.
