BBQ is delicious, but it isn't what is referred to as "flyover cuisine". BBQ is all over the US and every region does it differently. When we refer to "flyover cuisine" we're talking about spaghetti chili, stick of butter on top of a burger, tater tot canned food bake and stuff like that. Flyover cuisine is a blend of fast food, casseroles and each individuals region's famous bowl or plate of slop.

Frozen is interesting in that I like Gold Star over Skyline if it's chili spaghetti. Value wise the Skyline wins in the chili only, but you have to boil it down a bit.

The taste is hidden by cold, the texture is awful, you douse it with horseradish and try not to look. It's elaborate to make too. A number of my friends like it though, the perverts.

Belgians/Dutch/some Germans: creamy rice desserts. Not awful but reminds me of wallpaper glue. Keep sugar and rice away from each other.

Canada: poutine. It becomes inedible 5 minutes after it is assembled. The simple act of not mixing fried potato with gravy and cheese would be an improvement. It is tasty for 5 minutes however.

Central eurasia: was probably just the culture shock. As the ram is processed into several dishes and a meat stock for the next 6 months, the intestine/blood sausage really can't do away with the smell of farm beast. Most food in general is a variation of flour fried in oil with some really fat ground meat, or same meat made into very fatty soup with not enough salt and no veggies.

Oh, and the ground beef is way too mushed. It's supposed to be chunks of ground beef, like you find in a southwestern chili. Could also compare to the chunks of ground sausage in a white gravy. Too much mixing hurts the flavor, because the various spices are so strong. To get the full flavor, you need larger chunks so you can distinguish what you're tasting.
Note that the same logic applies to the cheese. See the shredded cheese? Poor person mistake. At most, consider mixing a bit of shredded cheese into the sauce if that's your thing. But layering large slice of cheese on top is what brings the whole dish together.
