eat double the amount and then see how you feel. do not add fat or sugar. add a fake sweetener instead, like aspartame.

Fucking delusional fat ass.
A single instant oatmeal packet is like 160 cal and it's pretty filling.
Meanwhile a single croissant is like 270 cal and it's barely feels like anything.

Only for 30 minutes, then your body realizes it's empty calories and you'll be starving in less than 1 hour.

One apple wouldn't keep me full for more than 30-60 minutes. I think this chart only takes into account the instant fullness and not the actual long term satiety. Yogurt (real, greek one) would be a much better option

Here's how it's determined since nobody's posted the real answer yet:
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/15701207_A_Satiety_Index_of_common_foods
>DESIGN AND SUBJECTS:
>Isoenergetic 1000 kJ (240 kcal) servings of 38 foods separated into six food categories (fruits, bakery products, snack foods, carbohydrate-rich foods, protein-rich foods, breakfast cereals) were fed to groups of 11-13 subjects. Satiety ratings were obtained every 15 min over 120 min after which subjects were free to eat ad libitum from a standard range of foods and drinks. A satiety index (SI) score was calculated by dividing the area under the satiety response curve (AUC) for the test food by the group mean satiety AUC for white bread and multiplying by 100. Thus, white bread had an SI score of 100% and the SI scores of the other foods were expressed as a percentage of white bread.
Paper goes into detail on the different precautions they took with serving the food and trying not to influence the different groups of test subjects along with what questions they were asked and at what times during the eating process.

No problem. Just realized I was wrong about pH by the way (I am obviously not a chemist). Water is baseline / in the middle between acids and bases, but its pH is 7, not 0.
