>Dont confuse prepfagging with cooking because they are polar opposites from each other.
Let me support my assertion:
one is enjoying fresh food in its intended nature. Fresh food, freshly prepared and then in turn, freshly eaten. There's literally a multi billion dollar industry that revolves around this entire concept. This is an art at it's core, its a love of food, a desire to enjoy food at its finest and sample the garden that is basically planet earth. people who love food love cooking it, prepping it, taking the time to develop flavors, learn cooking methods and more, all for one end result—tasting the food.

the other is tantamount to livestock feed. what do you feed an animal—the same food every day. this is the hatred of food at its finest. you take freshly prepared food then purposely destroy it on a molecular by freezing it, then destroy it even further with electromagnetic radiation, all while sitting there smugly, extolling yourself on how much time and energy youre saving yourself. the prepper hates that he needs to cook his own food to survive and seeks to replace food with either feed (mealprep/prepkg food )or meal replacements (aka soylent). he sees cooking as a chore and seeks to all but eliminate it when possible. at the end of the week the prepfag is left with an amalgamation of bacteria and mushy, unpalatable food.

Ive demonstrated how these two, although similar in that they involve food, are in fact direct polar opposition to each other. One could even infer that foodprepping is an antonym for cooking.

Why does mealprep make people on /ck/ so retard frothingly angry? I don't mealprep, I normally just make a sandwich in the morning, but I see no issue with it. This is especially true if you make good food for reheating like curry or just soup.

Honestly people in these threads who are hyper anti-prep never are able to answer the difference between leftovers and meal prep, do you fags throw away all leftovers too?

Show me one prepfag meal that isn’t bland soulless trash. Oh wait you can’t because food doesn’t work like that. If you eat the exact same dish more than two or three times (ie leftovers) you are mentally damaged

I make chana masala in a big pot on the weekends and have it & rice in little container every day. The rice is from the previous day but the curry is from the sunday of that week.

It really is. Eating the same thing every day with no variety, most look extremely bland and unseasoned, and nothing is fresh, so there's no real nutritional value either. I assume mealpreppers are just people who have given up enjoyment of anything if they can't even see food as something to be enjoyed. Seems no different than an eating disorder.

As for fresh, do you refrigerate any food before cooking, if you’re 99% of the public your food isn’t fresh because it was bought at a grocery store which disqualifies it by default for having to sit on their shelves.

Again I’m gonna say, I don’t meal prep, but you anti-prep retards are far more annoying.

5 day old food wouldn't be healthier than freshly cooked food in any way. You can actually get really sick from meat that's been stored too long. Also even though most vegetables and fruit "herr derr sit out on teh grocery shelves for weekz" , a raw vegetable or freshly cooked vegetable will still have more nutrients than one that's been frozen or left in the fridge for days.

But, whatever. If you hate variety and nutrients so much, feel free to go back to your 4th day of bland chicken and rice. People don't just criticize mealprep because it's popular and tacky, they criticize it because it's unhealthy and depressing.
