Ate here tonight. We were out doing dumb errands and didn't want to cook. Should have cooked. It was awful. Which should surprise no one.

I’ve had their fettuccine Alfredo. It was better than Carrabba’s.

Like all chains, I think it's more a matter of who's running it moreso than the brand. The one in my town is just alright. I usually get easy stuff though like chicken piccatas or some other chicken oriented dish.

Wife had the picatta. Was really bland.
I had the chicken margherita. All salt, no other flavor.

Fair point if a franchise, but having run a lot of corp restos myself, I know that chains like Darden have strict controls. Perfect? No, of course not, but pretty strict. Additionally, this unit has only been open ~3 months, so the training force is still strong with them.

Had really low expectations. Got lower results. Sigh. That's what I get for being lazy and not cooking.

It's real sad honestly. It's why I generally don't eat out much, if ever.

I disagree. I enjoy Olive Garden very much.

If you go to Carrabba's get pork schops marsala or veal.

Fettuccine Alfredo is the one thing Olive Garden does well. That and soup.

It's all about the soup, salad and breadsticks. Fuck the entrees. Their salad is delicious. You can buy the dressing and make it at home, though.

>Their salad is delicious.
This is absolutely true. It's a simple combination with a nice dressing. The wife and I enjoyed it tonite, while the boy ate the breadsticks.

You mean your wife’s bull ate the breadsticks?

I don't trust a restaurant that doesn't know the difference between grapes and olives.

last time I ate there I couldn't focus on my meal over all of the microwaves dinging in the kitchen. It was the dinner rush so there were a lot of them and they were pretty much constant. Don't let them seat you near the door to the kitchen.
