I was in a grocery store and curious about what this shit is so I bought a package that comes with 10 pieces of this stuff because they were not available individually. What can I do with this? What are some good uses for this?

It's not meat so who the fuck cares? Try deep throating it.

It's like a mild ginger with a little citrus flavor. Use it instead of ginger. Turmeric tea is okay too.

I think that you should post a picture of the actual product with ten pieces. Ten slices from a single or ten whole ginger roots, and were they all dried out and weird like you'd get from some old chinky store?

Be careful handling it, it is a potent dye and will permanently stain anything it contacts. Use it in rice, sauces, soups, marinades, etc. It has a very mild flavor on its own, something like ginger but with no heat. Its main purpose is to provide an appetizing yellow hue to any food. A chicken marinade with turmeric will make it look like the yellow grilled chicken at a middle eastern restaurant. It's best to grate it with a fine grater like a micro plane.

Use in place of dried ground turmeric. Fresh turmeric has a very pleasant aroma and will add depth of flavor. Dried turmeric only adds color. Personally, I use fresh turmeric in dahl, and chicken sate marinade.
