Nobody is actually really sure what kind it was, however it was mean't for the lowest, most poor people of the country, basically so they had something to drink as well. It was simply vile. There was a bit of confusion on my part whether meh Kong and sang som were whiskeys or rums, but they were listed under whiskey on most menus in Thailand at half the cost for twice as much as say a Jim Beam or jd (ie if a shot of Jim was 80 baht a double of the Thai equivalent was 40).In the 711s you could get a 700mL bottle for 200 baht (six bucks) and with enough coke you can almost look past the modeling glue Odor.
