breakfast on a bun has dry, overcooked eggs and the flavor/texture of hamburger bun doesn't go with sausage/egg.
Whataburger in general has dry as fuck burgers, their only good ones are the ones drowned in sauce, like the patty melt and monterey melt. Even then the patties themselves on the patty melt can still be so dry that some spicy ketchup is practically mandatory.

Really, I just stick to making burgers at home. Honeybutterchickenbiscuit is good if you been drinking all night, for sure.
