yes. all states have a sales tax. some items are not taxable, though. i'm in Texas. our state sales tax is 6.5%. in harris county, there is a 2% sales tax. so i pay 8.25% sales tax on most purchases. the county tax does not apply to vehicle purchases. so if i buy a vehicle, i pay 6.25% sales tax even if purchased in harris county. i think most fresh produce isn't taxed. other staples aren't taxed.

white truffles are expensive, but not THAT expensive.
during a normal year the one from Alba costs like 250/300 euros for 100 grams.
with that amount you can make tagliolini and carpaccio for 10 people.
Alba truffle is the most valuable one, but you can find truffles from other italian regions or even eastern europe that is a lot cheaper, and most people wouldn't even tell the difference.

Cappuccino is a lot of milk + espresso, you drink it at the beginning of the day because it gives you calories and energy, or else as a snack between lunch and evening...but alone, maybe with a sweet not after a full lunch with 3 bottles of wine.

Is this what public schools does to your people?

You enter the restaurant at 12:30/13:00 for lunch, maybe it’s a business lunch considered the kind of place where you discuss some important shit that takes a while, then you have a full multi course complete meal and since you’re not a turkey that has to be force fed for thanksgiving then you don’t eat everything in 10 minutes, right?

This can explain why the receipt was printed at 14:40, and this doesn’t imply that people finished eating at that time,
It means that when the receipt was printed from the Jewish piano the current time was 14:40.

Depending on the receipt (commercial, restaurant, store, ecc..) you would see the total inc. taxes or you see the total and the taxes, then the sum equals the single price of every dish/product.

Otherwise you just see the % of tax next to the price included taxes like here >>13359196

Is 1€ per person a lot of money? You don’t drink 1 liter of water alone, you split it with other people and if it’s not enough you order another bottle.

With that said it’s an useless consideration because we should compare the final price paid for the same meal in different countries to see if it is “a lot”, you can’t reason on crude numbers but then again nothing is free, not even the breadsticks at Olive Garden, their price is included in every other dish price to the public...it’s basic economics.

Our restaurants chose to let us pay for the water to keep food prices lower (we have a restaurant every 20 meters I’m not joking) so people don’t label them expensive, that’s why “free” water is a thing mostly reserved to more expensive places, because if you eat there you don’t mind paying good money while normies in normie tier restaurants Jew on 1-2€ of a dish.

>> No.13362937

>>13362872
For example see this >>13358107
It’s a high level restaurant where you spend on average 70€ for an amuse bouche + 2 courses + dessert, wine and water in an exclusive place and as you see you pay 3€ per bottle of water which is twice the price of water in normal restaurants but when we ordered 7 coffees they were “free” (you don’t see them on the receipt) and they also brought us mini assorted patisserie biscuits.

It’s marketing, the customer feel like he has been pampered by the restaurant owner who is a generous man and he gave you free thing (also because you spent a lot of money) but the truth is that many times if not almost always it’s just marketing as I said. They know they have costs covered so they can do this.

There are also truly generous people who really offer you free things because they want to keep you as a customer or because they like you, but if you pay attention they always offer you a shot of a random liquor or amaro. If you order a shot and pay they usually cost 3 to 5€ each one, with 3 to 5 shots they already covered the price of the bottle and the rest is pure earned money for them.
