How does /ck/ feel about anchovies? Sometimes i'll substitute worchestire sauce with an anchovy or two in recipes.

Are anchovies typically eaten fresh? I thought the normal way was to preserve them. I can't imagine their culinary application is same when they're fresh

Anchovies are one of the worst toppings you can have on your pizza after bacon and gummi-bears.
(Bacon's bad because they never fry it crispy, and bacon that's not crispy and crumbly is disgusting.)
