Never ate them, but my cousin's husband had a farm and they had some goats for some reason. All I remember was how stinky they were.

It's okay. I tried some in a West African curry restaurant. Half the planet eats goats, it's got to be one of the most cost-effective animals to raise for food.

Small enough and easy to kill and cut up. The meat is really good, not too lean and has a lot of flavor. Either gotta eat young males or relatively young females because males tend to smell bad and taste bad because they'll eat anything they can find.

Could you raise them yourself and just ensure they only eat food that makes them taste good?

Birria is the best goat dish ever
Add some extra hot sauce, lime, cilantro and onion to garnish it and eat with a fresh handmade corn tortilla. Can be eaten any time of the day.

For females, yes. Males however will smell and taste bad unless castrated early or killed early enough. And with all meat, the older it gets, the tougher it gets. So younger meat will usually be ideal.

I don't eat goat, but I remember it being force-fed to me. [family was into butchering animals]
I think it was just like carne asada, couldn't tell if it was beef or goat meat.
Makes sense since its all the same once the animal is processed.

I became a plant-eater later as a adult. Butchering is creepy.

Please no anti-vegan comments, you're a omni and can't speak about it

If you think the life of a cow is worth more than the life of a goat, just say it, man. You'd actually be correct, too.

Goat meat is bretty good, taste somewhat reminds of lamb. Just have to castrate the male goats early. They're low maintenance to raise as well(if you learn to accept that they'll just do whatever the fuck they want).
Milk also tastes really good, we make some cheese as well which is the GOAT(heh) on homemade bread.

Tastelet that not only couldn't tell the differences between meat, but also went on to be a pussy plant eater to cope. More than likely can't tell the differences between veges he shoves into his ass either.

Goat meat is legit, and as one anon said before tastes really good in birria. But how can you get past raising them when they regularly let out screams like someone's being murked? If it wasn't for that, I would definitely raise goats for milk and meat.

They feel quite nice to touch, but some of them can be quite oily. They secrete lanolin oil onto their wool so it doesnt allow the rain inside.
