Avocado
Used to love it but now I just think it's OK. Overall crop quality seems to have gone down in the last few years probably due to drug cartels. I used to be able to eat a whole avocado in one sitting but recently they've tasted like nothing.

The idea of what qualifies as good food varies widely by region and socioeconomic status. There is no consensus on it. That's why this board seems contrarian to you. Oat milk, yup the super popular one too. A lot of vegan brands suck because their all 99 percent water with thickening agent and like a shaving of an almond/tofu that qualifies it as whatever the label says. But oatly I think tastes best in smoothies and funnily steel cut oats. It’s actually got a thick mouthfeel , not overlysweet and doesn’t taste of additives and stabilizers. The slight grit and bottom of the cereal milk taste kinda sells it for me desu. Good in pumpkin breads too ( I go 50/50 milk and oat milk though one for flavor the other for fat). I’ll get a lot of flack for this one too, but certain big city cafes make lattes with oat milk and the thickness of the milk is unbelievable when it’s frothed in a frother it’s sort of like vanilla ice cream texture it’s pretty insane
Also vegan mayonaise is actually very tasty and the difference of not having egg yolks is extremely negligible cause their both a matrix of some oil that suspends a fat/protein anyway. The just mayo chipotle is delicious ( very good seasoning) and fabinaise regular vegan mayo has more of a bright puckers lemon/vinegar and slight slight sweet and season taste that honestly is much better than Hellman’s and now all the mayos I buy are vegan,

I’m not vegan, but their are certain vegan products that taste good. I don’t care about animals or perceived health benefits.

Also the impossible burger makes a fanfucking tastic edition into a BlT. Apple wood smoked bacon, a big in season fresh tomato, Boston lettuce, on a griddled thin impossible burger with garlic aoili is seriously good
