We had some good manhattans and then raw oysters as a starter and this AMAZING beef tartare. A big slab of raw meat, absolutely bloody, with some selected cheese on top and a cracked egg in it. So my stomach was full of raw oysters, raw eggs, and raw beef.

They drain the blood either way, normally the animal is killed humanely then hung to drain, halal it's killed by the blood loss instead.
