An obscure pizza place sold Jalapeno Poppers and I bought them one time
Instantly addicted
But they are so fucking expensive here, literally $2 ea
A single Jalapeno can go as high as $5
WTF do I do?
Jalapeno slices in a jar are cheap, can I just make cheese sticks with diced jalapeno?

>> No.13305237

I thought they were just banned at a local level from being used in restaurants
I'm sure you can still get them in grocery foods

the corn nuts at HEB have no trans-fat but the corn nuts at Lowe's have trans fat
guess it's where they get their supply from and if they care enough to check if they're adhering to city law. non-grocery stores might have more trans-fat items as a general rule since food items aren't their forte.

Just like everything in the US, it’s banned for poor people, but large companies can still easily access these products and use them as long as you can throw a 0G on the box and call it a day

It's a vegetable oil molecule that has a hydrogen atom added to make it solid or semi solid. The body can't really process it like it can saturated and unsaturated fats and basically it fucks ur shit. Banned in many first world countries and the US followed around 2015 iirc
