it's really good just salt oil potatoes and hotdogs. it was a staple in the great depression so it's what my parents had and it's one of their comfort foods. I like keeping some ketchup on the side and dipping it. if you use larger chunks of potato you might need to add some water while it's in the skillet to soften them up a bit.

When I was seven my dad took me to the national zoo or whatever it's called in Washington DC and I was hungry, so we went to a stand that sold those Hebrew hot dogs.
