Why do young people eat and post shit on social media at McDonald's?

I don't think I've ever watched anyone eat newspaper. I don't go to McDonald's though.

It gives them an excuse to get out of the house and potentially socialize. I remember a group of old people (I think they went to the same church) that would go there and chat with each other for an hour or two before the lunch rush when I worked there as a teen.

I saved from when I was working a job at 15 and own a rental property that gives me enough passive income that I really didnt know what to do with while im still working. I dont really have high goals in terms of owning a huge house or car, I work as a carpenter so im planning on starting a business and just making furniture to order once my current place is fully paid off. I think itll give me enough to do so I dont blow my brains out but wont be stressful because I can take jobs at any rate that I feel like.

Last time I went into mcdonalds to eat in before my bus there was a boomer out with what looked like his grandkids. He kept looking at me and whenever I looked over at him he quickly looked away. Everytime, I caught him looking at me atleast 5 times. What the hell was going on.

I'd buy a modest house with a nice pole barn out in the country. Metal working is great as it opens up motorsports as a hobby, which is endless and any one of 100 genres can consume a lifetime of interest.
At $56k/yr you could also afford to easily take one cheap 2 week vacation in the States and one mid-range 2 week vacation anywhere but Monaco or something.

I don't get the newspaper, but I do have some magazine subscriptions for reading on the can. Got a fold-down reading table (like those wall-mounted ironing boards you see) set up in there and everything. It's no McDonalds, but I'm still havin' it my way.

Old people tend to give less fucks and they're not as uptight or worried about their reputation, and it keeps going the older they get. They're a jolly lot because of it. I wish I'd spent more time with my grandfather when I was kid. He was born in the 1800s and had so many stories to tell, but I was just a shithead teen that didn't want to listen.

It's comfy that is why. I go there at 6:30 am to eat the Big Breakfast with Hotcakes and some coffee. Usually there is nobody else so it is one of the few occasions where reading and eating is not an autistic, anti-social enterprise. Do you know what is cringe? Messing around with your cell phone when you are inside anywhere. Nothing is worse than seeing some retard scroll through his facebook feed or checking a website incessantly in public.
