In Alabama we have a place called Jack's, they're pretty good, the fries are crinkle style and fairly salty. I think they expanded to some other states in the South but they're based out of Birmingham, AL I believe.

There's definitely some downsides to living in the flyover states but our gas stations can put out better fast and cheap pizza than 90% of the chains on the coasts.

I highly recommend pic related if you’re going through WV, Kentucky, or south western Virginia. There’s better coffee to be had, but the Thundering Herd and Miner (pictured) biscuits are pure glory.
