Make me a sandwich fgt
Sloppies, phillies, and burgers don't count as sandwiches fight me (except burgers they can just fuck off entirely cuz this ain't a burger thread).

>Pre-sliced potato bread, toasted
>Pastrami
>More pastrami
>Mustard
>Pickle
>Penzeys sandwich sprinkle (garlic, Telicherry black pepper if that even means anything besides 'black pepper', basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme, marjoram)
>Somehow realize I'm basically out of everything else namely pickles, kraut, cheese, and thousand island, but still seemed pretty good to me, actually.

burgers are sandwiches, categorically speaking, but sandwiches are not burgers

Anything 'sandwiched' (see the verb: to sandwich') between two slices of bread is a sandwich

Hot dogs actually kind of are a sandwich in a way, but you wouldn't define them that way because they've just got too many eccentricities about them.

The origin of sandwiches can be ultimately traced back to northeastern Europe where they made open-faced sandwiches and though they were originally called something, this original thing did become classified as a sandwich. It is in all ways a sandwich. It is the most sandwich of sandwiches if you ignore the verb form which comes from a popular FORM of sandwich.

Whenever I make a salad for dinner I make sure to keep some of the salad around for the next day. The dressing will have soaked into the lettuce and onions and tomatoes and it'll become one slightly crunchy mass. Mix that mass with a bit of mayo to give it some structure.
Then
>toast two slices of white bread
>in a pan, place a slice of ham, top it with a slice of cheese, then top it with another slice of ham
>fry on both sides until cheese is melted
>place salad-slop on bread, then your ham and cheese on top, then top with the second slice of bread
If done right, it's cheesy, drippy, crunchy and delicious.

Then you've clearly not had the usual hot dog transition into a sandwich, when it's fucking fragile bread hinge tears apart because guess what, you'll never be a pita pocket you reject of gluten, you'll forever be a sandwich and no amount of kneading will ever make your dough like that of a pita pocket.

Shred your lettuce. Looks like you’re using romaine, which is cool, but a BLT is one of the few instances that I don’t mind finely shredded iceberg. Better crunch than romaine imo. Looks like your bacon is a little undercooked too, but if you like your bacon a little chewier, I’m not gonna judge you about it. One last thing is that the bread looks kind of unevenly toasted. Bet they tasted just fine though. Any sauce on them?

Also, my sandwich. This is my go-to when I need a special treat.
Thick slice sourdough bread
Fresh roast beef
Rosemaru, thyme and black pepper
Light white vinegar
Light olive oil
Shredded butter lettuce, sliced Roma tomato (bellieve me, this is important)
Shredded parmesan / mozz cheese combo
