Tried to order one earlier, but they weren't available.

I tried going earlier but there was a massive line and a group of black guys was moderating it, yelling about how there were only so many chicken sandwiches and they were the rightful food of black kings and queens so white people needed to leave the line. Then inside there was a black woman dancing on the table with a sandwich on each hand, occasionally taking a bite of one or the other mid-swing. When I was passing by again on my way back from Wendy's there were two police cars outside. So yeah, I'm thinking they're back.

I just had two (2) of their spicy chicken sandwiches, and lemme tell ya, those motherfuckers are on FIRE. So goddamn good, holy fuck. Best chicken sandwich I've had in a real long time.
For reference, the pair of spicy chicken sandwiches was accompanied with an order of fries (well-seasoned and with pleasing texture) and a fruit drink (somewhat lacking in carbonation but not overly sweet). Overall a delicious and satisfying meal.

this. I popped in 10 minutes before it closed and the drive-thru line was still bleeding into the street. Luckily I just parked, walked inside, and it was completely empty. Walked up to the counter, and the employees working there ALL had thousand-yard stares, like they had just gone through hell. Ordered my chicken sandwich (and a spicy one to review), got it quickly, and left. Overall relatively painless.

The sandwich itself (which I'm comparing to Chick-Fil-A) in this case, actually isn't that bad. Pickles are sliced thicker than CFA, which brings much needed juiciness to the sandwich. The mayo is hit or miss (spicy mayo was better) but overall still works to balance the chicken. The chicken itself, while not as juicy as CFA, was way crispier and synergized really well with the soft bun.

Overall I'd give it around a 7.7/10. If you put a gun to my head I would still prefer CFA to Popeyes, but if you're looking for something different, or find yourself craving a chicken sandwich on a Sunday, you could do much, much worse than Popeyes.

I never eat chicken sandwiches, I would just rather eat the chicken by itself and order a 3 piece or something, but I had planned to give this one a shot. I passed Popeye's around 9pm and the line was wrapped around the building so I said fuck it. When there is that much demand for something it inevitably gets fucked up so I'm gonna wait until people wake up and realize that chicken sandwiches are just tendies in between a bun and move onto something else.

I drove past a Popeye's yesterday and the parking lot was full, the next door Burger King's parking lot was full of Popeye's customers, and the plaza nearby was packed with cars as well. It's a good couple notches above anything else Popeye's sells in quality. Big portion, very satifying relative to other fast food sandwiches with its $4 price, very crispy, good sauce (though when I got mine it had almost no sauce today, but I did enjoy it last time). It's not worth traveling for or waiting in a long line, but if your local one is normal enough it's a decent option. I was in and out my door in less than 10 minutes to get mine, but I wouldn't deal with bullshit like >>13166244.

I was driving to work and traffic was absolutely the worst I had seen it in years. Come to find all three lanes are for 2 miles are a parking lot because of the over flowing line at Popeyes which everyone is trying to get to. Finally got past it but was wondering what was going on.
Didn't help idiots were trying to cut by speeding ahead in far left and then cross all lanes into entrance, had a few sideways car block two lanes wonder how they got like that till they jumped in to the line allowing some traffic to get past.
