I get you OP, there is something in there that hooks you in and make you want more. Its not just sugar, because homemade cookies can have just as much sugar, but its easier to stop.
I think its gotta be a MSG like flavoring, along with some kind of gelatin-like softening agent that gives it that crazy chewy mouthfeel that we all love. Its strange and hard to put your finger on it, but for a lot of us, its the hook that keeps us eating this shit until the box is gone.
