If you want high blood pressure, sure.

Had a wisdom tooth removed on Friday. Got badly infected over the weekend. Now on antibiotics but still no solid food. Having a few of those squirreled away in the cupboard was a godsend. Even if I could only eat a handful of forks until I had to stop from the pain.

When I got my wisdom teeth removed, my bottom left didn’t clot correctly and bled for 12 hours straight. My stupid fucking mom wouldn’t take me to the dentist or anything because “it’s normal for it to bleed” even though the surgeon had to physically remove the entire clot from my mouth when I finally got to the fucking hospital. I was getting light headed from the blood loss by th end of it and since all I could do was drink water I was pissed.
That same tooth-hole also eventually got infected and exploded into my mouth with puss just before it healed up completely, like one final fuck you

They taste bad so I wouldn't recommend

I'm not sure. I'm an American and nearly fell for the meme. There was like a 3 day period where I got some toothaches back where my wisdom teeth are, and I figured it was time. Turns out, I go to the dentist, they told me I needed them removed, so I scheduled an appointment that I never went to. 7 years later, and I'm fine. What the fuck?

Idk about normal people, but in half Australian and half Mexican and that was a bad gene combo apparently. My mouth was too small and as a kid I had to get like 10 teeth removed surgically because my mouth would’ve looked fucked.
Wisdom teeth were equally bad but couldn’t get removed until I was older and they were in a better place to access

Didn't know it wasn't a thing elsewhere. I'm supposed to get mine pulled but they don't bother me or seem to be crowding any of my other teeth.
I'll live with the consequences should there ever be any, don't really feel like going through the recovery process.
On top of that I know it's a bad idea to be provided with easy to access painkillers. I have poor discipline when it comes to narcotics so I avoid them.

I have Ulcerative Colitis and stupidly tried to teach English in South Korea for a year after uni in spite of that condition.
The way I ended up getting severely sick and unable to hold down any food while wasting away in a foreign country on the other side of the planet was predictable. What was really strange though is somehow those spicy Shin Ramyun noodles at the grocery store near my SK apartment were what *saved* me. I swear they were the only food I could actually hold down without all the vomiting and diarrhea. Not sure why. The spiciness on its own should have made it a horrible choice.

I am not american. In my case it was, that soft tissue/gums were covering one of the wisdom teeth in a fold. And every couple months, no matter how careful I am, food remains would get stuck in there and inflame it. Which made the gum swell hard enough that I could not close my jaw cleanly. And the pressure closing my jaw caused, pressed down on the nerves long the jaw. So, it was always weeks or months of bad pain when it happened. So I got the offender removed. Other wisdom teeth are still in. And usually the operation would have been over with quick. The infection was bad luck. Maybe a bad job from my dentist, but good luck suing.

I fucking love Shin ramyun, but after getting my fucking kidney stone from Ramen and Dr pepper several times a week at work, i cut out a shit ton of sodium, and only have one in like a month. 3 in a few days makes my mouth dry and innards churn at the thought.

If I understood the sales pitch of my dentist right, even if there are no current problems stemming from your wisdom teeth, but it looks like there might be problems in the future, dentists often suggest to remove them before ~20 years of age. Because around that age the wisdom teeth have their nerves grow in deeper. And even when they have not yet come up wrong, sometimes it can be indicated that it is highly probably that they will come up wrong. And just getting it over with while they are straight is easier than need to cut them apart in the jaw and extract them in pieces later.

Or try the 10/10 malaysian brand "prima taste" with their la mian laksa or curry flavour, you will think it's a dish served in a restaurant, that's how good it is, but also a bit pricey.

The cheaper good instant noodles are yakisoba flavours.
