Back in the day I knew a tiny truck stop where a lady made homemade pies. I found the place by accident. They were the the most amazing pies I have ever had. Pecan pie is my favorite pie, but she made a pecan style one with a mixture of nuts, and it some how managed to be even better than regular pecan pie.
