England has the best puddings in the world (black, Yorkshire, Christmas, rice, suet, treacle both sponge and tart, figgy) as well as the best cakes (dark plum, short-bread, saffron, angel, Jaffa, carrot, any kind of currant), and proper biscuits and pies can be found hardly anywhere else. Scones with Devonshire cream are unbeatable, and can hardly be found anywhere else.
English breakfast is by far the best of its kind in Europe, if not the world: fried eggs, bacon, blood pudding, sausage, marmalade toast, tomatoes, and a couple of kippers, with hot tea and orange juice to the side. Much better than flaky crescent bread or cold cornflakes with skim milk.
That is not to mention the other mainstays of English cuisine: fish and chips, a Sunday roast with potatoes roasted under the joint (served with redcurrant jelly, mint sauce, Worcestershire sauce or horseradish), the sausage roll, cottage loaf ham-and-cheese sarnie, and in fact all sandwiches, bread-and-dripping, Cornish pasty, porridge, gin cheese and crackers, roast beef, and of course the English curry.

As a Dutch person the best cheese countries are:
1. Switzerland
2. Italy
3. The Netherlands

The Netherlands is basically only Gouda & Edammer, and mostly lacks variety compared to the other nations. Most Dutch variations on Gouda, are Gouda with extra ingredients such as mustard seeds but it's making process is the same. The concept of different levels of maturity of gouda cheeses is what really sets it apart as a cheese though.
Swiss and Italy have more variety and also have more outliners within their cheeses. Most cheeses of these nations are also fairly accessible and don't need an acquired taste.
