I really really liked this guy. I made him foods, took it to work for him to eat and left. I asked him if he liked it, he said he gave it to a co-worker. I didn't know he didn't like onions. I was in conflict with myself, asking if I could really give up onions for him. I felt I could, or at least make meals with and without. It turns out he was insanely bipolar and would give me the run around. I'm very glad I did not give up onions for him.

Now I'm wondering if an extreme hatred for onions is tied with mental illness. OP, get yourself checked.

Same for me. It's the one thing I can never get over. When there is onion in a dish I can tell right away because it overpowers everything else. I don't even hate the flavor per se, just the overbearingness of it. I even add onion powder to everything I cook, just not in the quantities reccomended.

Now I personally love onions, absolutely love them. I put them in everything. I love every type of onion or garlic - white, yellow, red, shallot, scallion, chives, leeks, and so on.

However, there have been a great many things in my life that I have disliked, that normalcucks got assmad at me for not liking. And so, my advice to you is this: Who fucking cares? Do what you like and tell them to get fucked if they have a problem with it. I'll never understand their weird social pressure thing for irrelevant nonsense. How does it affect them when someone does not like -popular thing-? Perplexing creatures, normalscum are. But if I ever listened to the masses I'd just be yet another sòy-chugging, netflix-watching, braindead, drunkard, fat, moronic loser like them.
