A “Chocolate City” is one where a large portion of the residents (usually a majority) are Black. It does not refer to any one city.

I ate at several of the best restaurant in my life in new orleans but I do not remember any of the names, just the foods. My advice is to walk up and down main street and just look out for good looking food. Seafood and sweets are always a safe bet. Don't be afraid to go down random alleys and cut throughs. Just make sure to say no when anyone want's to sell you some coke and don't stop walking.

Also buy a cigar from that one place....forget the name but god damn they had good cigars.

I went to coops and had rabbit jambalaya which was good but not worth the wait. next day went to this place called the high hat cafe which is in Feret. got a catfish po boy and their gumbo and it was the best food of the trip. I gotta say all the Chinese food in NO sucked
