Try and tell me what they're useful for outside of pancakes and taking up space in your cabinets when a universal cast iron pan would not only suffice but be useful for more than pancakes and autistically circular fried eggs.

you are just fucking stupid :
the reason for this pan to exist ,you inbred hillbilly, is to make consistent size not only for presentation , but for thickness , other wise you have irregular crepes , which are not blini's ,

Blini don't have to conform to any thickness or size standard you inbred, you dollop some liquid batter on a hot pan and roll it around. They're pan-sized.
Oladyi are smaller and made from a thicker batter, and nobody I've ever known used fucking moulded pans for them either.
This is what a blini pan (aka blinnitsa) looks like. Teflon-coated, thin with extremely low sides. You can make them just fine on cast iron as well, though in my mind cast iron is mostly for thicker, yeast-based batters like tebikmek (semolina-based blini variety from Tatar cuisine).

how important is rinsing or scraping the pan anyway? I just cooked some bacon and I just wiped off the excess grease from the pan with a paper towel and reheated the pan, should I do more? also why should I oil it when it already had bacon grease still on it, doesn't that do the same thing?
