>instant ramen
>just boil noodles dont add the seasoning mix or anything
>drain the water and add the noodles to the same pot with some oil or butter so it doesnt stick
>add an egg yolk and mix
>then add the seasoning

why not just use regular noodles if your going as far as putting it on a pan? Serious ramen noodles are plastic version of other chinamen noodles. A tad bit more effort and its a fulfilling meal, ramen is empty cardboard.

So basically like ramen carbonara?

I do something roughly similar, but I use a whole egg, not just the yolk, and no oil.

what do you mean "regular noodles"? its the noodles from the instant ramen pack and it makes them hella good
>>12836520
ya its a similar idea but id be hard pressed to call it "ramen carbonara" when theres no actual meat involved, thats too expensive and in that case id rather just have actual carbonara. i used to not use oil or butter but theres always so much shit sticking to the pot/pan afterwards but i think my pans/pots suck cause cause i did not take good care of them and they are old

I made this years ago from instant ramen, a ribeye leftover and some pan fried mushrooms. It was the best soup I'd ever had because I added all the rib steak fat and it was umami as hell. Some garlic chili sauce and bob's your uncle.

I just use the instructions for sapporo ichiban instant chow mein:
Use a shallow 8-10in nonstick/ceramic frying pan, lay the brick flat half-deep in water, soften the noodles on one side, add seasoning, flip, let the other side soften, stir until the brick falls apart and reduce the broth to a sauce.

If you want eggs rinse the pan out and fry you one to put on top.

i just use regular black pepper, both fresh ground or pre-ground depending on use

it's a bit of meme to put it on literally everything, grated leek or chives may be more suitable for this, but I do quite enjoy pepper and this was easier for a snack, but if i did it again i'd go through the effort.

you probably just don't like pepper but it could be an intolerance

what spices do you usually use?

ok Dr. Nephrologist, but what about the benefits of sodium? The slaves that had bad kidneys survived to get to America because they didn't dehydrate. You can do the same by taking sodium to counteract the isotonic nature of kidneys.

it's the perfect generic beer, it's what you think of when you want 'just a beer' nothing more nothing less
it's comparable to coors but at the price coors should be.
just don't try the presidents choice one, that's like a harsher flavoured canadian, I actually ended up 'accidentally' leaving a case of it behind while i've had a few trips picking up the noname.

i'm fairly certain these relatively recent additions are just the 'off weights' poured out and rebatched, likely the heads and tails of the batches mixed in too.

One serving of ramen is like a day's worth of sodium but not even a forth of what you're going to eat that day. A forth if you're on some 1500 cal diet, but even so, that is 400 sodium intake. Most people don't dare go over 200 percent sodium intake. You'll be forcing your kidneys to keep too much water and the heart thus pressure washes them to death with too much pressure.

Back in the day humans lived near rivers, not oceans, and without unlimited mobility of technology that made salt literally magic white powder, hence superstitions revolving around it. You needed that precious sea powder from far away. They used it sparingly and it was literally like gold. You treated wounds, saved food with it, and cooked with it like a magic powder that's precious meaning only like a tiny little scoop a day for the whole family in the pot. That's how we evolved.

You literally die if you drink sea water you know, your kidneys freak out on you and dump out all of the water in your system. Playing with sodium plays with water retention, but there is a fine line. Slightly over and you won't piss it all out, it holds more water, thus creating tension. Hyper tension. People's tolerance probably varies hence the drama around this thing.

Most USA gets 200 percent for that reason but then again I just read a rumor that in 50 years half of them will have kidney disease and it got me thinking. Why half? Half die from smoking long term they say. Why did half die of the black plague? Some genes are better is why. Our infant mortality rates keep alive the weaker babies.

So, the question you have to ask yourself as you consume several times your recommended sodium intake daily is, do you feel lucky?
