Stop trying to make it do everything. I use a steel or nonstick when I fry eggs, because I'm using EVOO and a scant amount. The cast iron is used for other things. So, if it doesn't work at all for you, the pan is shitty quality as most new ones are, with a surface that is pitted, unseasoned and not smooth. You can try having the oil jumping hot and sufficiently deep when you crack on the egg, but a nice folded omelete? no. A baked spanish omelet, probably, but you're scraping out some, and using a ton of oil. Upgrade to LeCrueset or start seasoning that bare pan pictured.

A good, well seasoned, smooth as glass cast iron like a wagner in good shape, yes.

That pan has nowhere near enough pouring points.

It is not ideal for classical fried egg. It is great for making freid egg that goes into freid rice - I always whisk the eggs very thoroughly, then get the pan piping hot and pour in a very smmall amount that I spread as thin as possible so it cooks in just a few seconds. I do that in batches, then I use the same pan for stri frying the vegetables (also in batches if it is a larger amount). You can get a pretty decent imitation of wok hei going with the right technique, even on a glass ceramic electric stove.

I've done it before. It requires a good bit of oil and you have to spoon baste the yolk to ensure it cooks well, and virtually every damn element works against you but it can be done. Wouldn't suggest it. I personally use griddles.

bought it for 14 bucks, it even was seasoned out of the box

That must require at least 3 pouring points, unless you cooked them one at a time.

yeah I cooked 3 seperate omelettes throughout the day since I'm a big guy for you
I don't even really use any oil, just put in a little and rub it throughout the pan with a paper towel
