Quinoa, garbanzo, broccoli, radish, Pesto, and lemon wedge. Like, gag me with a spoon, man. Gross. If you're gonna prep at least make something edible

if you DO meal prep you're probably a corporate puppet who's given the precious moments of their life to the tendrils and suction of an abyssal existence from which no joy can be forged.

I don't meal prep, but breakfast and lunch are the same on workdays (oatmeal for breakfast, salad with a pita for lunch). I make 3 meals per night.

No, leftovers are - attention - LEFT OVER from a previously prepared meal. Since the PREVIOUSLY PREPARED MEAL has been divided into 5-7 servings, there ARE NO LEFT OVERS.

lmao so you don't even eat any of it when it's hot? That's just extra sad. Imagine spending hours making a massive meal just to put it in the fridge so you can eat the same reheated slop all week and not even get to enjoy it once while it's fresh. A meal who's entire purpose is to become leftovers. Disgusting.

Extremely sad. Like cooking for someone else, but worse because they will never enjoy the meal freshly cooked.

I think to mealprep sometimes, and am often bored in my kitchen looking for something to do with my hands. but other than that, just never-cooking-for-one. Always cooking banking on at least one full-course meal for leftovers or more. Better to have homecooked food for work-lunches than Burger King or whatever. Knowing I don't have to pick up an either-expensive-or-shitty lunch at work tomorrow calms an anxiety. Coming home and knowing I can just eat dinner without doing a bunch of work, that calms an anxiety.

I need to cut down on snacking. But I don't snack on prepped-meals!

>> No.12733123

Meal prep is dumb. Loss of freshness kills the taste.

Just take leftovers from the night's prior dinner and reheat them for lunch the next day.

Ah yes. Food is only the means to help you work.
You live to work, can't waste all that time making food because you got to get up early and do it again tomorrow. Truly the American work slave.
