Let's hear some of the things you used to enjoy as a kid that turn your stomach as an adult.

For me, it was the little sausages that came with pic related. My family were poorfags growing up and beans were a common thing, so when they turned up with fuckin SOSIG brah? Fuck yeah. I used to think they were delicious too.

I dont think I could actually stomach eating one today though. Makes me think of dog food.

God those were good as a kid. Went to the US and tried Pork n Beans and there was one weird white fat nugget, and that was the ‘pork’ lol. Tried Heinz again years later and it’s way too sweet

The mini sausages in the Brit version were more like Vienna sausages as I recall. The pork fat in Van Kamps was just a tiny blob of white fat.

I've never tried Pork & Beans but I sometimes make something which is probably similar myself, fry up some bacon lardons with a load of chilli powder, paprika and onion powder, then add in a tin of cheap baked beans (I agree that Heinz is too sweet, it's also a bit too juicy). Absolutely lovely on buttered toast.

This is good. Also try adding some curry powder or Indian spices, goes great with the tomato sauce.
