I fell for the meme that they were bad too and then I actually tried his method. They're fucking good

he had some good TV shows and a couple good recipes on youtube. I still want to watch his cooking course thing to see if i can learn anything new. But as a chef, he's an old dog stuck in his ways of the classical french style and he can't do anything else correctly. He didn't really "revolutionize" English cooking, just modernized the beef wellington and a couple other dishes. The classic Sunday roast is the same as it ever was, but his beans and potato cake recipe is GOAT.

He is 100% an asshole but the persona he puts on for American television is definitely exaggerated. He's a kind man who has a lot of ambition and expects hardwork and dedication from anyone in his field. A good guy to be a role model, I think.

Gordon was really good, but that was decades ago. He's a TV celebrity now. He doesn't cook professionally to any extent worth noting anymore. He's obviously decently talented though, he just doesn't use it. That's why he's put out like three scrambled eggs videos consecutively.

If you watch a lot of his stuff, he's just a very high strung person. When he's not doing shit thats to do with cooking, he's always on fucking edge, which is probably why he's made such a great career out of being a chef. Dude is just always going a million miles an hour. He was going to be a footy player before becoming a chef, I think.
