I do and try to stick to 1200 calories, I try to not eat from say 9PM to 12PM the next day, I've managed to lose about 15 pounds since January but there are relapses. Lunch usually consists in rice/pasta and vegetables, dinner is more lenient, usually includes meat. Grocery day is where things get ugly, which is about every 5 days.

It makes me think they must have thought movies were incredible when people first saw them in the early 20th century. I heard when there was a scene with a train heading at the screen, the audience would jump out of the way.

Thanks for the concern. Lost about 10 pounds in January only, but it was indeed too much to take and I fucked up one meal which ended up almost raw, turned me into a craze and I punched a hole in a door. From there I toned it down. Also we (gf and I) got some financial relief in February which we celebreated with lots of food for several weeks, just like people who win the lottery fucked themselves up, and we just started to get back on track. Right now I weigh 171 pounds for 5'7". I have too much complex to hit the gym I'm afraid.

I actually amaze myself with how much effort I put into "cheating". I take a drug called clenbuterol as well as white kidney bean pills that inhibit the bodies ability to absorb carbs just so I can eat more. I will go two days at a time without eating anything just so I can gorge on something ridiculous like 2 whole pizzas or chinese buffet on the third day. I was even fully bulimic for at least 4 years of my life, not because I gave a shit about self-image, but just so I could hedonistically stuff more food down my gullet.

Its a real problem. As you can imagine my teeth are totally fucked too. I pray I get it under control before reaching my 30s, because at that point I just know I'll become a fully nihilistic landwhale with nothing worth living for unless I make a change.

I assume its tied to the same fucking broken part of my brain that compels me to fall into cycles of drug and alcohol addiction. I have been a heavy drinker since 17 (even wrecked two cars while drunk driving after graduating high school) and became a full blown fentanyl addict/dealer for a year in 2016 before my supplier ghosted me and I went into withdrawals. I basically take everything to the extreme, like when I get into exercise I weight lift religiously and when I get into a creative streak I will lock myself away in my room for months just to write music and poetry. I have a killer sweet tooth as well, I'll buy 5 lb bags of gummy bears and keep them by my bed to just take a handful of every once in a while. I sound like a cartoon character but its all true. I think I'll die before I make any progress on these issues.

Radical would be <500calories a day, you really don't need that many calories to survive and even eating <500 calories a day would only be dangerous if you're already a really low bodyfat % or are just completely missing an important vitamin/mineral

Just last year, I absolutely could not stop eating. I knew I shouldnt eat so much, so Id become so conflicted and pace around my room restlessly. Sometimes id drive around, passing mcdonalds or kfc, while willing myself to either skip it or just give up and eat. Food took up a lot of my brain then.

Idk why Im not like that anymore. Just stopped. I did take some parasite medication. Shat out some wispy looking dead worms.

please share a single study that states that your body metabolise all food the same way. show me a peer reviewed study that proves that lipogenesis happens the same way no meter what you eat. then drink 10000kcal worth of gasoline and eat 10000kcal worth of starch a week later and lets see if it has the same effect on your body.
jokes aside, you dont actually have any arguments, you just like simple explanations and it sure is easy to boast about nonexistent "peer reviewed studies". the way human bodies digest food is extremely complicated and has little to do with "thermodynamics". but it does sounds like something that makes sense so i guess retards like you will keep shitposting without thinking first and of course wondering why they dont have the body they want.

Intensive cardio would burn quite a bit more than 300 calories if you do it for 30 minutes, but if you can actually maintain truly intensive cardio for 30 minutes straight you're already in very good shape. Running a mile burns about 100 calories, mostly depending on weight of the runner. If you were to jog at a 6 mph pace (10 minute/mile) for 30 minutes you'd burn about 300 calories. That's decent exercise, but not even close to "intense".

>> No.12676721

>>12675071
The amount of energy contained within a food provides an upper limit regarding the energy that your body could have possibly taken from it. If the sum of the calories present in the food you've eaten is less than the energy you've expended over the same period of time you will lose weight. Of course the human body is more efficient extracting calories from some foods than for others. We're not ruminants so we'll get next to nothing from grass, but simple sugars take very little time or energy for your body to use. The basic idea of CI/CO is correct. It is not, and was never meant to be, an in-depth understanding of the human nutritional system. It's just a helpful tool for people trying to lose weight, but by all means continue being fat. It's no skin off my bones.

Not anymore. One or two meals a day and snack on roasted peanuts or almonds. Unless I'm treating myself I like to consider I eat fairly healthy. Example from today: Insomnia episode, ate rice with chicken and eggplant for breakfest, probably gonna eat some type of chicken curry with rice and veggies for dinner. Treated myself to a lemon ice cream today though. Weigh around the 110-130 kg area, 1.98m tall. Got a minor case of arthritis so movement is restricted slightly, try to ballance everything out with atleast 80 minutes of active walking/running/cycling

>> No.12682072

It's a mix of reasons, in my case, I'm not morbidly obese, but still obese. Tried to use food as a coping mechanisms for depression caused by beeing diagnosed with multiple genetic diseases, one of which made movement a struggle. Now I recognize the issue and am trying to fix the weight issue I've developed. Once you start eating too much, your body kinda adapts and assumes that's the new norm, so eating less becomes a "thing" of walking around always feeling hungry. Which in turn makses random snacks more frequent, which just makes the issue worse

And yeah, once you get in that cycle it's really hard to get out of it. Hell, I dropped to almost a almost healthy weight last year mid december, but one of my conditions made my life hell, which in turn made me get into the cycle of depression and overeating.
For anyone who's struggling to get out of the cycle, if you live with someone, offer to make food for the person/persons you're living with. Unless you hate them and are somewhat of a moral person you'll end up trying to make the food healthier than usual

Solve the snacking issue by cutting carbs and consuming more fat and protein from animals.
Solve your presumed sugar cravings by consuming more salt, add some high quality salt to your water to curb your cravings, craving for sugar can be a symptom of not getting enough salt and other minerals.
Opt out of alcohol completely, if you are socially required stick to distilled alcohol such as Vodka. If you still need to numb your senses then vaping cannabis or consuming kratom are better alternatives to alcohol, but be careful with the cannabis, do not turn into a day time consumer.
Diet coke is fine if you feel you need it, just not the cherry, lemon etc variants.
