I cook steak once a week. I will grill or oven bake 3 chicken breasts each week for salads, pastas, rice dishes, and assorted other meals. Always have a mix of berry, banana, apple, onion, garlic, tomato, salad mix, lemons, and potatoes on hand. This will cook nearly everything once you have staples like olive oil, butter, rice, pasta, and spices/herbs. I'm wanting to grow my own herbs so I can have fresh basil, rosemary and oregano on hand in season. I go to the store once weekly for fresh meat and produce. Buy meat thats on sale. I got fresh ribeye for under 10 dollars that was amazing. That's enough of a treat that you won't ever be aching for fast food bullshit. I still treat myself once a week to a meal out though. Gotta live some life,

I just made one amazing lasagna. I had planned on trying to not boil my noodles before layering, since my pasta tends to come out soupy, but I got cold feet, and boiled them anyways.

Bud, be open to trying anything, and you'll find some cool shit. Found an easy way to make a steak good, no matter how good the cut is. Sirloin, Ribeye, T-bone, etc. You can buy select cuts and still make it good.

Grill that shit how you like it (Medium-Rare, you filthy animal), and mix some basil pesto with some olive oil. I usually do a 1:1 mix, so it's not too thin. When your steak is done cooking, throw it on your plate, stick a couple this slices of butter over it, and plop a bunch of pesto/oil mix over the butter, and let it all melt and flow while your steak rests.

Easy side: broccoli. I said it.

Dice up the florets, melt a bunch of butter in a pan, and toss the broccoli in when it's all melted. Keep moving them around and turning them over until most of them have some blackened bits (not a lot, just some) and dust it with garlic salt, flip, and dust again. Flip one more time, and dish it out on the plate. If you have any pesto mix left, drizzle it over the broccoli.

Eat like a king. (Didn't say it was healthy)
