Burger King is shit and has been shit for years, the food quality is the lowest of any fast food chain, to the point that the marginally lower price doesn't excuse the horrible experience of trying to stomach the half-natural sludge they pass off as food. It's fucking gross, you're basically eating rat shit at Burger King.

Even jack in the box's sewer tacos are better than these.

Corporations aren't sentient beings, anon. Just because spamming posts about Burger King might possibly be to the corporation's benefit doesn't mean it's to the benefit of any of the people working at that corporation.
Someone (an executive, director, manager, etc.) needs to actually decide to task employees to do a social media campaign for it to happen. And that someone isn't going to want to do charity work they have no way of taking credit for. The taking credit part is the entire point. These individual actors within a corporation are what drive the actions taken on its behalf, not what would hypothetically be good for the corporation as a collective.

I'm mostly in digital marketing, but I partner with a few different verified walk-in companies that track your mobile activity down to the device ID and report back on how many people were in-view of the billboard going the right direction to see it, on the correct side of the highway, and then measure down visitation to the specific properties I was marketing for.

It's a lot better than someone standing outside and clicking a button every time a car drives past the billboard, at the very least.

I started hearing more and more about that "influencer" shit this past couple of months. I'm conflicted because on the one hand I hate buzzwords like that but on the other hand I'm getting real fed up with the people trying to act cool for reacting against that concept like small restaurant owners posting signs that say "influencers have to pay double."
I wish people would just stop acknowledging these buzzwords are real things at all. Even fighting them is a form of enabling them. Same as with "youtube celebrities." Even when anons criticize them they're still buying into the system by behaving as though these are actual celebrities and not just zoomers posting videos on youtube. Celebrities are supposed to be film actors, professional athletes, and recording artists, not random nobodies with youtube channels. And how are all these people "subscribing" to these channels for that matter? I use youtube all the time to listen to music or watch scenes from movies and I've never once used the "subscribing" function.

You moron. Ever since Donald Trump posted a Pepe on his Twitter, 4chan has been considered one of the most powerful social influencers on the Internet.

1. It costs nothing to "infiltrate" it. You just need someone who understands the culture.
2. A 30 second commercial on a cable TV channel costs around $100k during primetime. That $100k can be put instead towards a team of minimum wage employees tasked with flooding 4chan with whatever advertisements they want. Marketing on 4chan is hugely cost effective.
3. You don't need to buy 4chans internal data to see what is being posted and what's not. Effectiveness in marketing can be judged by responses and key words, passed via something simple like curl and run through an indexing service.

It also doesn't help that Hiro is probably taking bribes from companies to look the other way on obvious marketing campaigns. He seems to be an easy sell.

It's pretty easy to tell what's marketing and what's not.

1. If their post has a wojack or Pepe and Pepe isn't peeing and popping all over wojacks it's a marketer. Marketing loves those two because of how easy they are to edit and control, allowing them to constantly drive conversation with minimum effort. Pepe "represents" the angry 4chan and wojack represents the sad 4chan. Both can be sold to.
2. Look for elements of McCarthyism in posts. They will say one thing that literally anyone would be against and then call you a series of names for being against it. Alternatively, they will constantly portray themselves as a "master race" in comparison to their competitors. This has only been exasperated by virgin/Chad memes.
3.Advertisers hate anime girls. They don't understand their appeal, or how to use them in marketing. Wendy's got close, but blew their load way too early. If the poster has anime tiddies as their picture, they're probably real.
