chickens can give consent to eat their eggs, they lay them regardless. im not a vegan but if i were i would have no problem eating some animal byproducts, i couldn't call myself vegan i suppose but i see no moral objectification to eating cage free freerange eggs or even owning your own chickens and only using them for eggs. milk is again another story but i also believe it doesn't have to be that bad, just go easy on em and do it for subsistence. and obviously there is a degree of reason, plants for example are life but supposedly its alright because they cannot feel the same way we do, or likely at all. while there are likely germs and other living creatures living on that same plant. i also believe some animal species aren't worth caring about at all such as parasites or top of the foodchain predators like sharks
