Made another pizza. Talk about it. Good things? Bad things? Would this pizza get me laid?

Discuss.

Why do you think pizza will get you laid (with a girl)? It won't.

The pizza looks fine.

You need cornmeal and a 500F surface that's metal. Sorry that's a terrible crust. You need brownish black bubbles. You know they cook real pizza at 6 to 800F. That makes the crust hard.

Hot sausage and mushrooms, by the way. Whole milk mozzarella.

No shit, guy. What I did was heat my electric oven to 505F, put my pan in, let it heat, then put the dough on top and put it on the bottom rack for about 6 minutes until the crust was almost baked through. Then I put the sauce and cheese, sausage, shrooms and put it on the middle rack for another 5 minutes. I think this wasn't bad. I don't have a fucking brick oven.

You need a char. I can't surf youtube to find the best video, but go look for a proper char.

Money, a nice car, a nice house will get you laid. Not a pizza. Women are biologically attracted to good providers.

No, this was in triangles. One day I'll roll it very thin and do a square cut. I cut my Detroit pizza into squares.

You did great. I didn't mean to say you didn't. I've just spent hours literally tossing dough in the air. So I was trying to help, but criticize. I almost built a brick oven in my back yard. Basically let your pizza dough sit for a day. then toss it. 18 hours or longer.

This reminds me of the pizza I can smell being cooked right now by my roommate while I’m in bed. He will most likely eat the whole thing or throw away the leftovers or ruin the leftovers by putting them in the fridge uncovered. I bought $100 worth of groceries Thursday and he hasn’t contributed anything in months

>> No.12534052

>>12534030

but == not. I've had like 5 dough recipes in the past 20 years and I basically gave up looking for the white whale. I've made good, but not great. All I know is, let it sit and rot. Let the yeast work on the dough and it will be lighter and more bubbly.

Much better this time anon. Not a grill so I can't comment on the getting laid part but I'd try it. 8/10.

No.
Just oil the damn pan. 500F for 8-10 minutes is plenty.

you can buy a pizza stone at walmart for $12, and get some corn meal, i have a glass cutting board that i cover in corn meal and slap the already stretched out dough on it and sauce it cheese it then slid it into a 500f oven, i open the door every few min to check it and let the heat out because i want the stone to cook it not the hot air

>> No.12534068

>>12534059

you know what cornmeal does when heated? It turns to a simple sugar. It's just sweet and textural.

>> No.12534078

>>12534066

problem with ceramics is they don't transfer heat. They used ceramic tiles to protect the space shuttles. So it doesn't hold heat. Get a pizza steel, not a pizza stone. Get a thermal well that has a good transfer coefficient.

>> No.12534102

>>12534078
you got to pre heat it for 20min and it gets plenty hot, its porous and lets the steam out of the dough, if you use steel it just fries the bottom and can get soggy because the moisture is trapped. i have tried both

>> No.12534107

>>12534102

If you're cooking it in a toaster oven. Sure. You need a dry, hot place. Give the pizza a chance to breathe.

That's why you make sure you have an expansion area. If you can't afford a brick oven, you need a dry space.

this is a nice one because propane
and it says it cooks a pizza in five minutes
can either be used with a cannister or hooked up a 20lb tank.
its $300 USD but if you do a lot of pizza , might be worth the investment to you.

Yeah, man. That's burnt cheese. You put it between the dough and the pan before you bake it and it creates a buffer of caramelized cheese fat that makes your dick hard.
