it's a highly acclaimed euro beer, i believe they do sell it in some US bottleshops but at a huge markup ($100+ bottle US compared to like €20-30 in the EU)
it's a very, VERY good fruit lambic. world class easily. STRONG stonefruit on the palate but has every marking of a standard cantillon lambic. cobweb, horseblanket, sourness, but everything is entirely balanced by the ripe apricot. according to their website they use 300g ripe bergeron apricot per litre of fou' foune, which is an absolute insane amount.

it's in the top 25 beers overall on BA and honestly deserves it more than any other euro/sour brew

So we've got 4 of these left in the store after I bought one last week. It's the Oud Beersel Framboise, a young and old lambic mix with raspberries thrown into the vat or whatevs.

I've only had a handful of beer in the past 3 years that were this old and came with almost 10% sediment in the bottle, two others being a couple of barleywine style ales aged in a couple of different wine barrels, worst beers I've ever tasted on par with Grimes by Stone. The other was the Yeastie Boys Tea Leaf IPA by Adnams plc, Sole Bay Brewery.

IPAs are often hoppy and bitter, the things that people who dislike beer hate the most.

I like beer fine but most IPAs are just going full retard trying to be as bitter as possible.

I like to give them a stout, it's qualities are so different to a regular lager (which most people associate beer to be), that often times they are pleasantly surprised.

If they like wine and whiskey, then maybe go for an IPA or a Belgian red, since they are accustomed to intense flavours.

Not really. Maybe a decade ago that was true but balance has become extremely important now. Hell the popular as fuck neipa has almost no bitterness to it and is like drinking a smoothie

Anyone tried making this?
