The restaurant scene is virtually nonexistent other than fast food, but oddly enough we have an excellent supermarket selection for a town this size, including a Publix and a Kroger - which means two of my three favorite chains (now all we need is a Wegmans). So at least I can cook good stuff for my boyfriend here at home.

Closest cities (Akron/Canton)near me have a few hispanic markets that make some decent tacos, and there's a couple steakhouses and bars that do a good job on traditional fair, but nothing is too exciting here. We have a gas station restaurant that is pretty highly regarded because they would only give the chef a loan for a gas station. It's not a buffet though, but they do feature one of those ridiculously garnished bloody Mary's on weekends, so it has that going against it.

>Great place to have a family

>In the 2000s, while most cities had seen a decrease in crime and murder, Wilmington had broken its record for homicides in a single year multiple times. In 2017, Wilmington saw an even steeper increase in crime. By August 2017, Wilmington had already eclipsed the homicide total of 2016 despite only being 2/3 through the year.
>In 2014, Wilmington recorded 28 homicides, making for a rate of 39.5 per 100,000 residents, which is ten times the national average

There's an Ethiopian restaurant right near by me. Dunno if I'll ever go there, since Ethiopian food seems best eaten at the restaurant and not at home. I don't want to eat alone at the place, would like a friend or something to go with but I have no one. Oh well.

Other than that, Austin is full of BBQ places. Haven't gone to any yet. Really the only restaurants I've "explored" are all fast food. There's also a nice Indian place, but I want to find a good Lebanese shop. Love me some dolmas.
