I just moved to Chicago from the East coast. What should I be drinking now? I mean in terms of craft beer but also bigger beers that aren't available on the east coast

anyone drink texan beer? what's your opinion on it? i've tried numerous local craft beers and it's all been pretty meh. i do love revolver's blood & honey though, i definitely recommend it if you can find it in your state.

also, shiner is overrated and the shiner light blonde has no taste, it's like you're drinking the can.

my town's local brewery so far has been very disappointing. i tried their witbier/hefeweizen hybrid and it was very bland and boring, and i just cracked open pic related and i'm even more disappointed. it has a very strong alcohol flavor up front and is just not very enjoyable. my journey to find good texan craft beer is proving difficult.
