Dude, you're basically eating pie for breakfast, so I don't think "health" fits into that equation.

Actual Pie. Single crust.

Piecrust is nearly straight fat grams, and it's the piecrust calories that really run up the calorie count in pie and pop tarts.

The kind of pie that does not use traditional pastry crust, are the kind bonded together with sugar and butter, the crumb crusts, crushed graham, sugar or chocolate wafer cookies. Use less butter and make it thinner, and it's less fat and calories. Use less sugar, it becomes dry and more crumbly, but it's less.

Cut back on the fat, sugar all you want in the filling, thicken it up away from cream and yolks using gelatin trickery or nonfat whipped toppings blended with your ohh key lime filling, it's what they do in restaurants and groceries to simulate regular recipes.

Bonus if you make your own bread and not a store-bought sponge.
